Blue Kyanite is my favourite kyanite & most probably the most popular coloured kyanite, which can come in every colour including black and white. This is the one stone I would say to everybody to carry a piece of this with you at all times in any form, raw, or polished. I’ve had some incredible healing experiences with it since I discovered it for myself twenty years ago. I remember I’d been to Mysteries in London & was really not coping with my anxiety issues at all, especially with travelling on the London underground. Well the lady in Mysteries had recommended this pretty stone to me and I bought a nice piece of it. Being a blue stone, it is said to help the throat chakra and to help with communication issues. I have a condition called Semantic Pragmatic Disorder, which means however well I might be able to pretend to sound on screen or paper, I struggle very much verbally, as well as having dyspraxia, and verbal dyspraxia, I often sound like a stuck record trying to get the words out, and when I do they are often not the words or sounds I wanted them to be! So for me this little bit of kyanite helps me to reduce the anxiety before I start to speak, allowing me a bit of a better flow, and so immediately my anxiety is reduced, helping me to keep on with that flow. I was on the train & being a very impatient person had to open my bags from the stone shop straight away to look at my stones. I was on a crowded train & trying to squash myself into a corner I got the stone tight in my hand & shut my eyes to attempt a short meditation to manage my breathing & I felt this stones energy pulse through me. My mind was filled with a pale blue of vertical lines and it was as if this stone was merely reminding me how to BE. It not only has the healing properties of calming and healing communication problems but it is also an invaluable *first aider, which is a little ironic as raw pieces can & do occasionally give us tiny splinters! I really don’t mind an occasional splinter, but if you do, you are completely safe with a polished piece.
*Obviously we do not mean the stone can fix broken bones or heal diabetes, neither do we think it’s a cure for any neurological or mental health problems, but we do believe it will aid a gentle healing for any of the above when combined with other medical or complimentary meds or aids.
